I don't know the possibility of cloudiness in winter Fairbanks. Even if I give you a possibility, say 5% chance of cloudiness hyperthetically. Let's pretend you go there and it gets cloudy. That 5% is meaningless to you because to you it is 100% cloudiness. What I'm saying in my prior post - I wouldn't go to Fairbanks just to see aurora. In my opinion (and I'm probably not the most qualified to say this since I don't live there), Fairbanks the town itself doesn't have a whole lot to offer.
