agree all but the last point. 商业炒作 never work in Arts world

modern arts rooted more in cultural environment and philosophy. These guys were trained as traditional artists, but lost in the way to express themselves in a "traditional" way, hence the birth of abstract expressionism and popism. Regardless of the different view points, their pure existence worth a page in art history, not to mention their rather strong influences on generations of people who somehow felt lost in a similar way and found freedom of their mind in these forms of art.
