但愿科学家不要出错

有的时候科学家也会出错。在1959年之前，科学家认为黄石公园只不过是个死火山，根本不知道下面是个超级火山。人类对超级火山的研究不过几十年的时间，谁也不知道有多少错误的认识等待纠正。

另外，还有民间人士认为美国政府把研究超级火山的科学家看管起来了，也许有真相没有公布：

“it is already known that the scientists who are monitoring what is going on at Yellowstone is being withheld from the public.”
