It's is VERY safe in Jerusalem.

- Media like to report violence (only) to attract interest. Violence is usually exaggerated and misleading;

- Both Jews and Palestinians are religious people.
There are almost zero violent crimes there.

- Almost all violence is due to political reasons.
So, when you choose a relatively "quiet" time to go,
you won't get caught in-between;

If you are a boy/man. Go ahead and travel by yourself,
which will give you more freedom and better dollar efficiency.

If you are a girl/woman, do not go there alone.
Going with other friend(s) will help.
