To be honest, I have encountered this kind of acts countless time, especially when I was young and a bit "untamed" (and of course a bit Self-centered as well).

I remember those, sure, they have places in my heart. But they fade as time goes by, because what I have and own, in real life, is much more precious and treasurable to me, than those sweet memories.

That is my point. You only keep thinking back such ancient memory because there is something lacking in your current life, so you keep looking back to search that something missing. You would, of course, to suppress the thoughts, but during late at night, during reading something sentimental, such thoughts jump right out to bite you...

Personally, I dont admire such process - I am more alarmed by such happening - something in your current life is not working the way you hope it work.... so you keep searching, subconciously.
