Michigan is a big play ground.

The best place for canoe I have tried is Au Sable river near Grayling and Sturgeon River near Burt Lake. These rivers are much faster than Huron river. (not comparable) Rock climbing? Galyan's in Novi has free rock climbing in the store. 3-4 stories high with protection gears. For pros, you have to go to Yosemite or desert. Kensington park is good and safe for surfing. Our Ski places scattered in Shanty Creek, Boyne and Boyne Highland, Tree Top, etc. Shanty and Double JJ have good golf resort too. Want ATV ? Go to Silver Lake. The sand buggies will make you crazy!
