冰岛人说他们的黑沙滩是地球上最美的。 这里的"黑沙"其实是颗粒状的火山灰石. 没有杂质， 没有淤泥，捧一一把，只要轻轻一拍，就可干干净净。 黑沙滩多在冰岛东南端峡湾区海岸线上。  VIK 景区黑沙名声在外， 其实你开车继续往东行从 Hofn 到 Djupivogur 之间许多独特黑沙景观。冰岛人也许不想把他们告诉你。
