Please check some info back to many years ago.

But they are still useful except some restaurant names changed. US dollar is cheaper than CND dollars. Toronto food is not cheap any more, however food quality is still far better than LA, NYC and other US cities.

Eat food at Chinatowns: Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal all have Chinatowns, good for older parents. Eat Franch food in Quebec City is a must.

Good route by experiences:

NY -> Falls -> Wildlife Zoo -> Mississauga Chinatown -> Toronto -> Ottawa

-> Montreal -> Quebec City -> Thousand Island -> I-81 south back to NY.

 

Through this route you will see better and better cities in order.
