被查出有甲状腺肿瘤，我该如何办？

本人，女，才39岁，才做了甲状腺超声波检查， 查出甲状腺肿瘤（ thyroid nodule
tumor)，大小2.5cm x 2cm x 1.3 cm报告上是这么说的

there is a complex nodule in the upper pole of the left lobe of the
thyroid gland, It measures 2.5xm x 2cm x 1.3cm. It has solid and cystic component

耳鼻喉专科医生说要做手术，如果是良性，只将肿瘤切去，如果是恶性， 要切除整个
甲状腺。

家人不同意看中医， 怕耽误了， 我又不甘心就这么挨上一刀， 大家有什么建议吗？
