What you are "admitting" now could have well be integrated into your earlier arguments if you truly respect these "imperfections" in western medicine. But you chose not to, and saved it for now when the discussion has become irrelevant or even irritating.

It makes you appear manipulative and insincere. It is not doing any good to your credit.
