The book never mentioned the American Indians but I kept thinking of them as I was reading it.

The Indians have been traumatized as a whole people, and there is no possible healing.

This is very good book in its own right, I recommend it.  《The Body Keeps the Score》 by Kolk.

《The Chinese in America》by 張純如 made me think of the Indians too though they were only mentioned in passing.
