當一個鮮活的意志投向世界，它往往會被庸俗的人辨認為自私的欲望.

 

And this is due to the unfortunate fact that, in my eventual observations,  the overwhelming majority of people do not operate on the Will/意志 but the desire/欲望. Therefore most people most of the time can only cast impure desires into the world, but this is to weigh it down into its miseries further. Only some people in some better moments can provide the world with refreshing wills. These collected wills are what uphold the world. Without these larger or smaller flames from their various contributors, the human world would have sunk into darkness a hundred times. (This isn't hard to imagine. Only need to see how incredibly selfish, irrational and short-sighted the population is.)

 

小谷 is such a contributor as now in one of her best moments. Given her uncommon family background and growing up history, she likes to melt two confronting nations together at least in a narrow field which she can nourish with her takent. This Will of hers is that refreshing independent force that enters the world and helps with its forming. It is by nature not meant to be pleasing to the ready-made reality but to transform it, even to offend it when necessary. Since it is a raw, young, new force, it comes with all sorts of errors. It is like a vegetable just uprooted naturally carrying muds. But it is a refreshing good Will offered to this world. This is the most significant.

 

而庸俗、造作的人啊！當他們把那些乏力的渾混不堪的欲望不停投進這個本已充塞着隂暗的世界，一個小女生递過來一盏小燈 - 其實也衹不過是一盏小燈而已，他們却想熄滅它。
