我覺着這些禪宗故事不是用來解的。它们傳達的是一種状态。
如果你接近這個状态,自然就有得, more or less, but there are no "solutions". Solutions are against 禪.
Of course, if you still like to solve them, you can come up with some solutions. But they are just some solutions:
The first one, I think it is about placing one's attention on the moment, that way it can flower. A sort of like "power of now" as popularized by Eckhart Telle.
Yet like I just said, beautiful as it is a solution, if you are not in the right state and practice it continually, the solution is not going to benefit you. It may even take away your freedom to true enlightenment by anchoring your mind to it.
I don't like the second one, its wording is too literarily beautiful to be spiritual. I am skeptical of some Chinese Chan stories.
