My Sudden Shriek

Summer in Texas after midnight
By the windows on the couch I lolled about
Dangling a cigarette between fingers
And with a most unnatural silence
Disturbed suddenly by my shriek
The cigarette burned out
And the ember dropped on my naked lap
Glowing, letting out a puff of smoke

德克萨斯的夏天
我慵懒地斜躺在窗边的沙发上
手指间夹着一根香烟
异乎寻常地沉默着
突然我的一声尖叫
打破了这般沉寂
香烟燃尽了，余烬
掉落在我赤裸的膝盖上 
闪着燃烧的光，飘起
