Girl Ling
Girl Ling was a paralytic
She killed herself by drinking pesticides at twenty.
Girl Ling loves a man: her Boy Ming
Now he’s my Boy Ming
Our Boy Ming lives in the city
Girl Ling and I live in the country
Girl Ling cried Boy Ming’s name when she died
Now I cry along with her
Her in the grave, me in the sunlit world
Wind blows over me sitting by her grave
Wind can no longer reach her
Wind strokes jade-white her
not mud-sludgy me
Wind turns the grass on Girl Ling’s grave into green then yellow
Wind dries up my tears then blows them back
Two women, separated in the sun-lit and the underworld
Both have endless shadows in the sunset
Girl Ling, if you hadn’t defrauded Boy Ming
of an eulogy using your death
How would I fall for his temporary grief
using my life-long sorrow
xx - I really liked this poem. But I may have interpreted it wrong. She was able to fall for Boy Ming because they bonded over grief.

xx - I think its creative, it has a story behind it and it feels like it can go somewhere if you took the time to edit a little more. It's lacking imagery.
