I meant to say since language itself is more fundamental

than any specific models of thoughts in where so called brainwashing comes about, therefore it is more meaningful to investigate the nature of brainwashing at the level of language. If you agree that brainwashing does exist at that level then brainwashing exists in general. Our discussion is then a done deal.

However, if you ask me if brainwashing operates as often as models of thoughts (those things you talk about, such as politics, religions etc.), I would say yes. But this is an endless argument and I don't want to get into it.
