Faith is an evil.重要的不是普世价值而是理性思考

普世价值本身就是一个不断变迁演化的东西，同样要批判看待。看看下面这两段文字：
"No rational man, cognizant of the facts, believes that the average negro is the equal, still less the superior, of the white man...The highest places in the hierarchy of civilization will assuredly not be within the reach of our dusky cousins.",

"I will say, then,that I am not, nor ever have been,in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races;that I am not,nor ever have been,in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people;and I will say, in addition to this, that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality."
你能相信第一段是进化论斗士Henry Huxley说的，后一段是Abraham Lincoln说的吗？如果这两位150年前最优秀的头脑，最有良知的人都持这种论调，当时的文明社会的普遍看法会是什么样子？我们有什么理由相信我们不会再犯类似的错误？

信仰这种东西是非常危险的玩意儿，因为它是理性思考的终结。很容易让人为了些莫名其妙的东西抛头颅洒热血（不管是自己的还是别人的）。

Dawkins提了个很好的建议“Do not indoctrinate your children. Teach them how to think for themselves, how to evaluate evidence, and how to disagree with you.“

没有信仰的好处就是会专注于证据，open to change.以是否相信进化论为例，Dawkins这么解释 "We believe in evolution because the evidence supports it,and we would abandon it overnight if new evidence arose to disapprove it."
