薄瑞光：台湾关系法是美台核心文件

《多维新闻》薄瑞光向马英九强调，《台湾关系法》依然是台美关系的核心文件，奥巴马访华期间，不论公私都强调美国的对台政策及对台承诺没有改变。

据台湾中广新闻11月24日报道，总统马英九24日上午在总统府内接见美国在台协会AIT理事主席薄瑞光，薄瑞光对马英九表示，在总统奥巴马结束中国大陆和其它亚洲国家之行后，他就来台湾向马英九进行简报，并且和其它人士会面。

薄瑞光强调，奥巴马在北京的时候，不论是公开还是私下的谈话，都强调美国长期的对台政策，包括符合台湾自我防卫需求的承诺都没有

薄瑞光重申“（英语）奥巴马总统在北京所发表的公开声明中，有关《台湾关系法》的保证：《台湾关系法》仍然是台美关系的核心文件！”

薄瑞光也表示，美国一贯敦促海峡两岸应该透过和平方式解决所有问题，也要符合两岸人民意愿。马英九对薄瑞光的说明表示感谢，也认为这和台湾方面的预期是一致的。
