I don't think 大陆want to打台湾, they just don't want 台湾独立

My opinion 大陆's concern is, if 台湾独立, US can put another military base there,that's no no. 台湾has the history of helping US during Korea war. As long as 台湾 remain as is, no military worry at all.
核子弹 is developed for protecting China. 台湾 people better realize the game is between US and China, Taiwan doesn't pose a threat to China's safety.
As of "大陆开放之初也得利於许多台商投资", that might be true. But the motivation of 台商 come to 大陆 is for making money, not for helping 大陆. It's basically a business decision, just as they make investment in any other countries.
Today, the reason that 台湾 isn't doing well economically, isn't because 大陆妨害台湾的"利", Taiwan did it to themselves.
