Well I don't think I can agree to that analogy, although I think you'll at least agree: the author (of the article above) had no idea what he was talking about (with regard to Taiwan being an "adverse effect" or "strategic obstacle"). And, surely there's no need to be alarmed for people who advocate for maintaining status quo, right?
