The 钟书 dude reads a lot. You'll have to give him that. Reminds me of 大苏, at times. Bookish types, but sensual, and wickedly indulgent in their own variety of humor.

Whatever 金明馆 leaves behind, there is a measure of sadness associated with it. His is always a lost battle. With the 钟书 dude, however, I often times experience nothing but silly fun. The dude simply loves what he does.

My policy? Play his game, or leave him alone.
