Actress, dancer and humanitarian, Audrey Hepburn was, for all of her life, the ideal of femininity, gentility and all around perfection.

1. Hepburn's first serious love was with James Hanson (a young British businessman). They were engaged in 1952, but after setting a date and having the dress made, she realized that the nature of both their careers would keep them apart for too long. Hepburn gave the dress to an Italian couple, who have it to this day.

2. Also in the 1950s, Hepburn dated the American theatrical producer Michael Butler.

who was already married. Hepburn had planned to marry Holden and start a family with him,

4. In 1954, Hepburn met the American actor Mel Ferrer at a cocktail party hosted by lifelong friend Gregory Peck. After working together on the play Ondine, they eventually fell in love and married in Bürgenstock, Switzerland in September of that year.?

 

5. With Ferrer, Hepburn had two miscarriages (the first in 1955 and the second in 1959),

while traveling with Princess Olimpia Emmanuela Torlonia di Civitella-Cesi.

She stated that she fell in love with him while exploring Greek ruins.

11. The couple divorced after 13 years together, finalizing the end of their marriage in 1982.

1954年9月, 赫本结婚的时候, 派克应邀从美国赶来瑞士, 参加她的婚礼.

他送她的结婚礼物是一枚蝴蝶胸针.

这个胸针 有着一段很深的情由.

这枚胸针赫本非常喜欢，一直珍藏在她的身边直到终日。

Love is an indispensable part of a woman, which is applied to Audrey Hepburn too, who is the most well-known woman of elegant and decent manner. Her whole life is full of scandalous stories. One after another men walked in and out of her world, but there is a touched and particular relationship with Gregory Peck, who was the one in her fate but unfortunately never came to an end of marriage. These two were connected because of the classic Roman Holiday, and turned out to be the most ideal screen couple, which actually were not in reality. When he attended Hepburn’s wedding, Peck sent her a piece of delicate butterfly brooch, which she was very fond of. Though Hepburn had experienced a series of infidelity and divorces, the unchanged love was the butterfly brooch, which walked her through all pains and joys until her death.

We couldn’t easily recognize it is all about love or simple friendship, but we can realize something when 77 years’ old Peck came to see her off, lowered his head, slightly kissed her coffin and gently said out her innermost feeling “You are the Only Love in my life.”

Afterwards, the Sotheby’s New York auction held a charity bazaar to auction her previous private commodities. Peck came just for the butterfly brooch, which he got and kept as a memory of Hepburn. Then 49 days later, Peck died in peace while holding the beautiful brooch in his hand.

而且，赫本活着时 并非每日都佩戴

派克 拍 / 赎 回来也没有攒在手里直到咽气

这些写手 想象力 够丰富

可惜， 不真。

 

其实 关于这枚蝴蝶胸针的故事，纯属编造

宝饰公司也是借此自宣

大约这枚胸针根本是子虚乌有

派克从美国西海岸的洛杉矶 专门 飞到 东海岸的纽约

更是杜撰

尽管故事凄美

《罗马假日》影片中有一个“真理之口”的经典情节。

也许没有人想到，这个情节完全是派克在拍摄过程中临时冒出的灵感。

由于这是剧本里所没有的情节，赫本当时真的被吓了一大跳，

她以为派克的手真的被真理之口吞了进去，

吓得赶紧帮他拔。当她知道派克是逗她玩时，她一下子娇羞地把脸投入到派克的怀里。

那一刻她忘记了自己是在演戏，流露出她最本真的纯洁善良。正是这个出其不意的经典情节，

使人们永远记住了这对天使般的银幕情侣。

但 轮到派克, 就

 

这场玩笑恶作剧 是本片留给许多人印记最深的镜头

我亦然

婚后赫本还是居住在瑞士，与远在美国的派克相见的机会非常少。

但是书信电话不断.

 

1993年1月20日赫本因肠癌去世，享年63岁。四天后她的遗体被安葬在瑞士的小镇公墓。 

有文说：

人们没有想到，已经７７岁高龄的派克在妻子的陪同下，

也千里迢迢地从美国赶来瑞士参加了赫本的葬礼.

 

并说:  葬礼之际, 派克低下头，在赫本的棺木上轻轻印下一吻，深情地说道：

“你是我一生中最爱的女人。”

其实 派克不是 也不可能这么说.

 

派克 根本未能参加赫本的葬礼， 但是送了花篮致哀。

the flower arrangements sent by

Gregory Peck, Elizabeth Taylor and the Dutch royal family.

Shortly after noon, Audrey Hepburn's pale oak coffin arrived,

borne by six men she had held dear:

her companion, Robert Wolders; her sons, Sean and Luca;

her friend Hubert de Givenchy; her brother Jan;

and her second husband, Andrea Dotti.

 

网传：

2003年4月，世界著名的邵士比 (Sotheby's) 拍卖行 在纽约举行了赫本生前物品拍卖。

那天，派克亲自前去拍回了那枚他送给赫本并陪伴了赫本40年的蝴蝶胸针。

当他干枯的手握住胸针时，他触及了赫本那美丽的心跳，

他觉得自己这一生再也没有什么遗憾了。 

49天后, 

2003年6月12日凌晨4点，派克在他的洛杉矶 比弗利山庄的寓所里，安详谢世。(享年87岁)

UNICEF's Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan delivered a eulogy and Maurice Eindiguer, the very same pastor who had married Audrey and Mel Ferrer some 30 years earlier and also baptized her son Sean in 1960, presided over her funeral. Many family members and friends attended the funeral, including

her sons Sean and Luca,

partner Robert Wolders,

brother Ian Quarles von Ufford,

Dr. Andrea Dotti,

Hubert de Givenchy,

executives of UNICEF,

actor friends Alain Delon and Roger Moore, and Mel Ferrer.
