sitting still on the swing

leaves
whirling and swirling
around
as thousands of birds
are perching
silently
in my
heart
 

simple like this

she can bloom
wherever has air and sunlight
even in the absence
of love

standing before a closed door
when will it open?
 

A rainy day started with

morning light
pregnant with shades
of last night
