sometimes if a guy always fail on career development, that could represent a big weakness in his personality, for example, no confidence, no courage-always let opportunity go...etc.

It's no only about career failure you don't like, it's his personality you don't like at the end

Anyway, temporary failure doesn't count, anybody made mistake and had misfortune; I mean here consistent failure
