CHANEL, YOU FINALLY GOT ME!

You may already know my  philosophy against chasing fashion.  I do not drive my purchase decisions based on what is “IN” today.  For me, style should expresses your personality as well as inner essence rather than being “IN”!

On a recent outing downtown to Nordstrom, I picked up a few new lip colors, including the Giorgio Armani  in the picture.  Interestingly enough, the color is called “downtown girl”, a perfect match for my top and trip purpose..

In today’s look , I feature a red ruffle knit shirt from STYLE Mafia. The exposed shoulders with ruffle finish adds sexiness and femininity.  I paired it an ankle length jean for  a weekend  look.  For the shoes and bag, I chose Chanel products: Chanel slingbacks & Chanel Le boy bag.  Thus, why I titled this post “Chanel, you finally got me!”

Although I have seen Chanel bags for a long time and they often live up to their quality reputation, I previously did not see any bags that matched my style. I also resisted something “IN”. However, I spotted this particular Le boy bag, during a visit with a friend to the Nordstrom Chanel store. I loved what I saw so much that I put my name on a typically months long wait list. Surprisingly next day, the shop assistant called to congratulate as a proud owner of the Le boy bag! I also fell for the Chanel slingback shoes on the same day I got the bag.  After so many years of resisting Chanel, you finally got me!!!
