I consulated with four doctors, one plastic surgon and three dermatologists. The plastic surgeon does not offer laser treatment. He only offers photofacials. The dermatologists told me that photofacial will not remove feckles. They all recommended laser treatment. I had a test spot done before I went for the whole face. The test spot is necessary, because different people react differently for laser. Some may have hyper or hypo pigmentation.

As for the costs, the consulation is about $100. The treatment is about $500 for the first one, and $250 for the second one, if needed. Some doctors will deduct the consulation fee from the treatment fee, if you decide to retain him or her. My advice is always consult with at least three doctors. Don't go cheap with consulation fees.
