I agree with 阿巧。She thought she had laughed

at your expense, but actually she had made herself looked bad. Don't lose sleeps over it, as I won't :-)

However, you do need to develop/sharpen some communication (both verbal & written) skills to protect yourself in a corporate america. Be careful with some bastards (they exist everywhere) who would steal/claim your hardwork and/or blame you for their own mistakes.
