可能我不懂这种思维方式？

把他说的一钱不值，甚至奚落，是为他好？他们对自己小孩也是这样的？Once the Chinese church that I went to did a survey with teenagers, the parents looked pretty bad, they were hard to please, even one B was considered unacceptable, they were very demanding, unsympathetic to their children's struggle, they were mean, verbally abusive. I guess to these parents, 'success' is more important than happiness, and the only success is defined by hard work and results in their way.
You wonder why other people are having an easier life?
