I totally agreen with 看风景: Nadal has been trying hard to improve his game for a long time! He reached 2 SF before wining US open. He reached 2 finals before winning Wimbledon. His serve speed picked up since early of this year, didn't you notice that his serve got much better at French open and wimbledon?

He lost badly in toronto and cincy masters, but I think he was experimenting his new game before US Open.
