As another poster said, Pippen contributed greatly to the Bulls success, but wasn't appreciated accordingly. His last contract was offered with MJ insisting on it. He was first told that he's not going to get the raise and he could walk.

After that, he was caring only himself. Unfortunately, Rockets got all that.
