Some beef I had with Kobe though

He has missed way too many defensive rotation and assignments. I understand he's tired, and he's carrying the major load of offense. I understand that Mo Williams can never be found in the same zip code of the guy he's supposed to be covering, because he's dumb. But, Kobe was voted onto fist NBA defensive team. That's why I really hate to see the defensive team voting became a joke, about popularity contest as well. Guys like Kobe and LeBron gambles with steals, and grabbed a few boards and slashing a few spectacular blocks with their athleticism, got hyped as best defenders. While real perimeter defenders like Shane or Bowen, facing excellent wing players every game night, staying with them for 40 minutes, and studying them in own preparation, will only get voted to 2nd team or 3rd team.
