小威以前曾在美网多次跟裁判发生冲突，这次又跟政治正确连在一起，控告裁判性别歧视

可以说是有前科的。可以说是她丑陋的一面，只要不合自己的意愿，就对别人横加指责，大肆谩骂；却从不自我反省，自我检查，是否自己做错了什么。某些媒体人还称她是史上最佳运动员，真是莫大的讽刺。

她的教练也承认，确实在比赛中给小威打手势，on match coaching。

第一次 code violiation，小威有 on match coaching，是警告；第二次 code violiation，小威摔拍子，罚一分；第三次 code violiation，是小威言辞侮辱裁判（指责裁判是小偷），罚一局。

小威一直争辩说没有on match coaching，不应该有第一次 code violiation；反复要求裁判向她道歉。这明显是不服从裁判的举动，也是自以为是，自我中心的表现。永远是别人的错。BLM。

她打球厉害，做人不怎么样，绝不能作为 role model。不遵守规则，不服从裁判，公共场合大肆指责别人。

为 Nike 惋惜，找的那些代言人（老费和纳道除外），真是令人遗憾，也许代表了 Nike 的文化。

实际上，小威整场表现确实不如对手。可以说得上是输球又输人。然后又指责裁判是性别歧视，把自己在赛场的恶劣表演政治化，美化自己的丑陋，变成为女性运动员抗争。真是荒唐透顶。

This was Williams' third high-profile conflict with an official at Flushing Meadows, following her tirade after a foot fault in the 2009 semifinals against Kim Clijsters and a dispute over a hindrance call in the 2011 final against Sam Stosur.

What the 2018 final will forever be remembered for is the way Williams clashed with chair umpire Carlos Ramos, demanding an apology after he initially issued a warning in the second set's second game for a code violation for receiving coaching, which is not allowed during Grand Slam matches.

The US Open later issued a statement saying that Ramos' decision was "final and not reviewable by the Tournament Referee or the Grand Slam Supervisor who were called to the court at that time."

Williams objected right away, saying she would "rather lose" than cheat. After the match, in an interview with ESPN, Williams' coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, acknowledged that he had tried to signal Williams but said he didn't think she had seen him -- and added that he thinks every player gets coaching during matches.
