Sadly to learn now museums dont allow picture taking.
I hope you have visited Thyssen - almost direct opposite from Prado - Thyssen is truly a treasure - especially the decorative arts, such as those semi-precious stones inlaid tables with complicated patterns and paintings (made by semi-precious stone morsac) - they have halls and halls of such display, versus only a few in Uffizi, Florence. Thyssen is a Barron of Austria or Germany (I forgot) but his wife is Spanish. After his death, all big European museums want to have his treasure. His beautiful Spanish wife decided to bring the treasure to Spain.
When we were in Madrid, it was the grand opening of Thyssen and we did que up over an hour to go in - wellworth the time.
