Xiaoou 病情近况

As at 13 April 2009, a total of about $170，000 was raised under NUSSU (NUSSU Fund).


Xiaoou has completed her first session of chemotherapy treatment at the National University Hospital (NUH).


Her family decided that she should continue with her treatment in China.


Xiaoou has arrived safely in Beijing on 8 April 2009 and she will continue with the remaining chemotherapy sessions at a local hospital there.


There are also plans for her to undergo a bone marrow transplant in China.


To date, the NUSSU Fund has been used for payment to the Health Science Authority (Bone Marrow Donor Program) to conduct tests for bone marrow matching confirmation of potential donors. Payment will also been made to NUH for the first session of her chemotherapy treatment.


The rest of the NUSSU Fund will be used for Xiaoou’s medical treatment in China.
