Fans braved high levels of haze and long queues for McDonald's newly released plush toy in their Fairy Tales collection in the wee hours of Jun 20, as several Stomp contributors reported.

The Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) soared to 321 at 10pm yesterday (June 19).

The plush toys were sold on eBay at marked up prices before they were even released in Singapore. Advertisements offering them for $50 each have also been making the rounds.

"It seems that Hello Kitty is still more important than haze, such that people are willing to queue even with the PSI level above 250."
