Security consultant Winson Chan Swee Teck, 49, pleaded guilty to paying $100 to the then 16-year-old for sex at a hotel in Geylang in July last year.

 

He is the second man to be convicted of having commercial sex with the same girl. Earlier in January, a former Singapore Land Authority executive, was jailed nine months for a similar offence.

 

Under the law, it is an offence for anyone to have commercial sex with a girl under 18.
