想在组屋过道种点花，请问什么品种好养活，又会开花？

本人花草盲一个，请各位指点一二。
如果有建议，能顺带提供花草英文名称就更好了。顺便问问，兀兰义顺一带哪里花圃比较多又适合购买我所说的花花草草？
