One time our car was singled out for a thorough search and I had to go to the office to answer a few question - all because I had a computer with me.
The most recent time the officer wanted us to open the trunk (which was completely empty - all our stuff were at the back seat). He then asked if the car a rental - it was. He then went thru the shopping bags at the backseat to try in vain for groceries - there was none. The total delay (not counting the queing time), was 25 minutes. Queing was probably an hour.
