Great information! I have saved all of your responses and started searching for schedules of cruise & ferry, and locations of hotels. It seems there are lots of work to do to make a right plan, but it's enjoyable. It is part of the trip any way.

Cruise you mentioned is different from ferry, right? The main issue I'm concerning is the rental car. It seems the car can go with me if I take ferry but I don't think I can take car with me if I take cruise.
