Thank you, both of you, so much for the advices, information and warning. It seems traveling in AK is far more complex than I thought before. That’s perhaps why not many people travel in that place.

I definitely need to do a thorough research on AK and probably overhaul my travel plan I made earlier based on my limited information on AK and unrealistic imagination. The most important thing is to get myself ready for facing the potential issues you mentioned.

I plan to spend about 15 days or so for the trip. Maybe, a better plan is to spend 5 days in Vancouver-Victoria area, and another 5 days in west BC, and the rest days for visiting AK.
