平水韵七律
渐近渔乡渐远京，
孤舟不负水深情。
古今迷梦开眸破，
左右真缘合掌成。
浣剑江流先浣月，
餐霞野渡后餐英。
人间寂寂霜天晓，
彼岸时来燕一声。
In Exile
With the fishing village in sight, the imperial city recedes into oblivion, or so I tell myself. As I navigate the river's currents, I find peace in its profound depths.
Illusions of the past and present dissolve in an awakening moment. Midstream, I am on course to where I should be.
I cleanse my sword in the river, its blade silvery under the diving moon. As the mist thins, a deserted dock emerges, perhaps promising a breakfast of drifting wildflowers that I dream of.
At the world's edge, a new chapter of my life begins, thanks to a singing swallow from nowhere. Believe me, one swallow is enough to make a spring.
