惠特比有个林德湖岸保护区

林德（Lynde）湖岸保护区位于安大略省惠特比（Whitby），由安大略湖北岸的林德河口及周围的沼泽地组成。

这个保护区是多种爬行动物、两栖动物、鱼类和水禽的栖息地，也是为沿安大略湖迁徙的鸟类提供的主要歇脚点。
