This plant is just too common in our town

It starts blooming in mid to late March in central North Carolina. Now the Spring flowering season is already over.

Some of the varieties bloom twice, once in early Spring, once in late Fall.  It's very easy to grow here and it's literally everywhere if not under control.  We have lot's of Crape Myrtle too,  blooming from July to September for 100 days. It has many variety of colors, not just purple, but also red, pink, white. I have a red one at the front yard, two white ones at the backyard. Central North Carolina is in zone 8, a great place for different plants to grow except for the tropical ones like mango, lechee, logan, bananas, they will die out in the winter. Flowers are generally easy to grow. There's plenty of rainfall.
