对俺来说，“高考那些事”有些平淡无奇，单纯得只剩不顾一切，只想着“新的（大学）生活”。每当复习疲倦时，会仰望窗外的星空，想象未来大学的模样，并不只一次地画在草稿纸上，绘在心上…。后来，那年，自己的孩子考上大学，体验到当年父母的喜悦，父母一定知道我那时心里想什么，只是没有说出口：“我的生活开始了”。
经过长途跋涉，我们把孩子送到大学的宿舍，和女儿同宿舍的是一位犹太小姑娘，她父母和我们一样忙前忙后，孩子们兴奋异常，完全忘记了帮自己的父母，犹太人父母看着同样气喘吁吁的我们摇头示意，仿佛说：“为什么不帮一下父母？” 我理解孩子的兴奋，在我们离开学校的时候，孩子情不自禁自言自语：“My life begins now”。我看着太太不语，我们有些、又不十分惊奇。
