《美丽的阿美利加》（America the Beautiful，或称《美哉美国》）是美国一首很受欢迎的歌曲，几乎与其国歌《星条旗》一样脍炙人口，被称为美国第二国歌。这首歌歌词优美、旋律动听，名列美国优秀歌曲前茅。1972年，美国总统尼克松首次访问中国，在欢迎尼克松的晚宴上，周总理特意安排军乐团演奏了《美丽的阿美利加》，给尼克松、基辛格等美方客人留下了深刻印象。歌曲由凯瑟琳.贝茨作词，山姆.华德作曲。

1893年夏季，威思利学院教授凯瑟琳.贝茨(Katherine Bates)登上了科罗拉多州的派克峰，深深地被宏伟的落基山脉和广袤的西部平原所感动，写下了美丽诗篇“派克峰”。1895年7月4日，该诗以“阿美利加”为题发表在期刋"The Congregationalist"上。1892年，作曲家山姆.华德(Samuel Ward) 发表了他在1882年创作的这首名为Materna的曲子。虽然贝茨和华德从未谋面，他们的词曲在1904被组合在一起，开始传唱。到1910年，贝茨的诗与华德的曲相配，并以“美丽的阿美利加”(American, the beautiful) 发表。
