but here's the thing

in such hapa marriages, more often than not it's the chinese women taking great efforts to adapt to their 'foreign' husbands but not the other way around, as alluded to in your post. it's not like that with chinese couples nor with white couples, where the women are usually more dominating. i think that says something.
