An emotional woman is sexier. Needing, wanting, dreaming and lack of rational would make a woman appealing to men in my eyes.
To immigrant to another country is very challenging and will most likely make a lot of family dysfunctional. In the survival stage, rational and inner peace inside a woman will help her man to cope with difficulties.
I did not read the original novel, but I think I would like each character in the novel without too much judgment. There will be blood inside each of them. Life is to live and they all tried their best to survive. I wish everyone to enjoy life, but life is tough from the beginning of born. No matter what status in their life journeys, I respect them as who they are, their emotions and their choices.
Being independent in both emotion and financial does make a woman more respectful and appealing, however to trust the hu*****and, to rely on the hu*****and and yield to cooperate with the hu*****and will also highlight a woman’s character.
As talking about a man, I think to regard his wife’s sexual desire as his priority will make him more appealing in my eyes.
