gentle（温柔）不等于submissive enabler

中文的词义比较贫乏，英文更准确一些。你列的这些人物都是典型的enabler （ one who enables another to persist in self-destructive behavior (as substance abuse) by providing excuses or by making it possible to avoid the consequences of such behavior)
