i think it does have a lot to do with education.

and in my area, you got to be always curious, to search out for new things. people has to be more tolerant and curious in this area. we always love a unique woman, and always want to go to a new place for inspiration.and i believe one day if i am not curious any more, i am done-dead:(

tolerant-- i think you might mean open-minded.
