真的有人有这样的能力么？

很困惑和怀疑，请大家指点一下：

爱上了一个人，可是时间很不好， 他有未婚妻而且婚期定在今年10 月。3 月才认识，感觉很开心，两个人很合得来。可是最近他说他感觉越来越喜欢我，这个让他很害怕，决定以后不再见面。今天他告诉我，he has feelings for me but he has deliberately shut it down....I wish I can do the same. Just wonder if we love a person can we really shut it down freely?
